On 8th August, a week after the violent shooting of Tel Aviv which caused two deaths and severely injured fifteen persons, two demonstrations were held in Paris to mourn the victims.
The Centre LGBT Paris IDF arranged a peace meeting on 7.30 PM that day, which was overwhelmingly attended by prominent individuals who expressed their pain and grief towards this mindless carnage on Israeli homosexuals.
The Paris LGBT Center president, Christine Le Doaré, pronounced a short speech then asked for three minutes of silence.
The same evening around 9 PM a silent march was organised from Centre George Pompido to the Protestant Church in Rue du Archives, where the mourners lighted candles in the memory of the slain victims of Tel Aviv, Nir Kat and Liz Tarbishi
